I was born in Cape Town and grew up on an apple farm in the Elgin district and also spent time on the family farm in Murraysburg in the Karoo.
After finishing my schooling in Stellenbosch, I travelled overseas for a year. My son, Liam, was born in 1997, after which I embarked on a career at the University of Cape Town in the IT department. I moved to Grahamstown at the end of 2003, where I have been an estate agent for six years, as well as running my own small web design business.
I took a break from property in September 2010 but missed it so much I returned 11 months later."I love my work as an estate agent as it allows me the opportunity to network with many different people from many different walks of life. I enjoy being able to offer good service and have a lot of fun at the same time".
Personal Interests
I have a special fondness for Victorian homes and enjoy renovating my own Victorian home when time allows. Each project has its own challenges in restoring it to its original glory. I am an avid reader, and read fiction and non-fiction as a form of relaxation. I am particularly interested in landscaping as well as alternative building methods. i.e. Green Buildings. I enjoy working in the garden and have a prolific vegetable garden. I spend time playing squash with Liam as well as watching him enjoy all his other sporting activities. Currently outdoor activities are reserved for gardening.
Community Involvement
